আসরের নামাজ চার রাকাত সুন্নত ও চার রাকাত ফরজ নিয়ে গঠিত। ফরজ অংশ ইমামের নেতৃত্বে জামাতের সাথে আদায় করা হয়। তবে ব্যক্তি মুসাফির অবস্থায় থাকলে চার রাকাত ফরজকে সংক্ষিপ্ত করে দুই রাকাত করতে পারেন। নামাজ ৫ ওয়াক্ত পড়তে হবে।
